aim: I want to find out how to tell if something is an acid
method:
equipment
- beaker
- red cabbage
- hot water
- test tubes
- acid +hydrooxide
- dropper
instruction
- get your equipment
- then break a piece of cabbage and put it in the beaker
- put 100ml of hot water, over cabbage
- put 2cm of acid in one test tube and 2 cm of hydroxide in another test tube
- Drop purple cabbage water into each test tube
- Take a sample of acid and hydroxide to combine to then make purple, blue and green colours
